Village VII Master Plan and Architecture, South Jordan, Utah

As Daybreak expands to the west side of it’s regional light rail line to Salt Lake City, UDA was commissioned by Rio Tinto/Kennecott Land Company to provide master planning and architectural design services for Village Seven, the first of several new villages on the west side.  Village Seven is designed as a 500-unit senior community, offering a range of building types from small, attached cottages to large single-family houses arranged on pedestrian-friendly streets, paseos, and open spaces.  The architecture is designed to live efficiently on small lots while still providing high-quality private, outdoor living spaces. Village Seven is integrated into a regional trail system that connects Village Seven to a nearby village center, open space amenities, and the regional light-rail system.
