| The Park DuValle Pattern Book was developed in conjunction with the Master Plan. Each neighborhood was designed and documented in the Pattern Book to guide the development of a series of distinct addresses within the 96-acre site. The Community Patterns set the relationship of buildings to one another and to the streets and parks. A variation in style and character is also established. The Architectural Patterns set the style palette and key elements for each style such as massing, windows and doors, composition, porches, etc., for three architectural styles: Old Louisville Victorian, Colonial Revival, and Louisville Craftsman. UDA worked with architects on both the rental and the home-ownership housing to develop designs that responded to the Pattern Book and the intent of the Master Plan. |
