pensacola waterfront

An industrial waterfront is transformed into a regional destination

In 2007, Pensacola needed a waterfront destination. UDA and experts in sports architecture, landscape architecture, waterfront engineering, and development economics prepared a master plan development of Pensacola’s Community Maritime Park. The new public park, once port facilities, is connected to downtown and includes a new baseball park and waterfront amphitheater, a UWF Maritime Research Facility, and a Multi-Cultural Museum. The ultimate build-out also includes private development in mixed-use development blocks.
