Our architectural work grows out of our urban design projects. We concentrate on developing designs for key civic or landmark buildings as well as residential buildings that set the character and image for the development. While UDA sets the design character for these buildings, we then work with local architects to complete the technical construction documents.
Another important focus of our architectural work is the development of UDA Pattern Book Houses, a portfolio of house plans for detached and attached houses that cover a broad range of the market from the most affordable houses to those that are designed for buyers with greater discretionary income. This portfolio is modified to work with regional architectural patterns and is part of our comprehensive service available to developers or communities who want a seamless transition from the urban design vision to the built environment.
