UDA Fellowship Program

"History is the study of the past. Tradition is the bridge to the future."
David Lewis, FAIA, FIACP, RIBA, Co-founder, UDA

Thank you for your interest in the UDA Fellowship Program, a two-year internship in the UDA urban design studio in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The internship begins with a training course in the practice of urban design followed by an internship in one of UDA's urban design teams. Although we are based in Pittsburgh, our work takes us across the United States and around the world.

The goal of the internship is to open up our Fellows to the practice of urban design and the allied professions. Following the internship, UDA Fellows have pursued a variety of professions including architecture, landscape architecture, urban planning, public policy, and public service. Many UDA Fellows remain at UDA with extended internships and/or studio leadership opportunities.

UDA Fellowship salaries are nationally competitive. UDA offers a 401K program and health care.
