Terry Welsh, AIA LEED AP

Terry views the design process as a way to learn more about the world while helping people identify and solve problems. His work at UDA has enabled him to investigate architecture and urban design issues at a wide range of scales and locations. He values the opportunity that the charrette process provides to connect directly with the people and places served by a project.

In his role as a project manager and Associate, Terry encourages the architecture and urban design teams to innovate on both process and product. He has been a key player in the development of new approaches to using digital tools that have helped the studio to become more productive and better able to respond to client needs.

Terry is a registered architect in the state of Pennsylvania, a member of the AIA and is a certified LEED AP. He is also a member of the inaugural class of the Leadership Institute for Emerging Professionals, a program created by AIA Pittsburgh’s Foundation for Architecture.

Terry earned a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Notre Dame where he participated in the University’s Rome Studies Program as well as the South Bend Urban Design Studio. Before joining UDA, Terry was a designer and project manager with Kil Architecture/Planning in South Bend, Indiana.
