Catalysts for a new community
Starting a community from the ground up is difficult. To catalyze the new community, the developer chose to develop two key landmarks to build upon. The Lake House was designed to connect this new low-country community to nature, evoking the neoclassical heritage of Charleston as well as the natural surroundings. The Corner House was designed to evoke historic towns. To function as the true center of the community, it is programmed with a café, learning spaces, a master gardener program, and civic open space.
