A new waterfront mixed-use district for downtown Tampa
UDA prepared a vision plan for the Tampa Bay Lightning to develop blocks surrounding the Amelia Arena in downtown Tampa into an active waterfront place. While home to significant uses already, UDA worked closely with the client team to envision a new mixed-use district that would include a medical school for USF, offices, hotel, housing, restaurants, and shops focused toward an expanded park along the Garrison Channel waterfront and Water Street.
